چکیده
Background: Anomalous origin of the right coronary artery from left sinus Valsalva (ARCA) is a rare anomaly. Surgery recommended in symptomatic patients, while optimal surgical approach controversial.
Case presentation: We present case an ARCA 56-year-old male who was managed with bypass grafting using internal mammary and ligation proximal artery. The patient remained asymptomatic after 1 year follow-up.
Conclusions: can be to prevent competitive flow.

Anomalous Origin of the Right Coronary Artery from the Left Sinus Valsalva with Coronary Ectasia
The abnormal origin of the right coronary artery from the left aortic sinus coursing between the aorta and the pulmonary trunk is a rare congenital anomaly. It may remain asymptomatic or may result in cardiac morbidity or mortality. In the past, an anomalous origin of the right coronary artery from the left sinus of Valsalva was considered a benign finding; it is now evident that this anomaly c...

Anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the right sinus of Valsalva is an anatomical abnormality that is usually associated with myocardial ischemia and sudden death. Although this abnormality may coexist with obstructive atherosclerotic coronary disease, disease is not usually found in the anomalous course of the artery. When this coronary anomaly and obstructive coronary disease are...

Considerable variation in origin and distribution of the coronary arteries has been described over the years. One of the most interesting anomalies is that of the left coronary artery arising from the pulmonary artery in a heart without other defects, first described by Abrikosoff in 1911. Cases were reported sporadically in the next twenty years but clinical interest was not aroused until Blan...

Anomalous origin of the right coronary artery from the left sinus of Valsalva is a rare congenital anomaly but a relatively frequent cause of sudden death in the young. The medical records of 4 consecutive patients with this anomaly were retrospectively reviewed. The first 2 patients underwent coronary artery bypass and had early graft failure. The next 2 patients underwent coronary reimplantat...

Coronary anomalies are relatively common but rarely associated with syncope, myocardial ischemia, and sudden cardiac death. An anomalous right coronery artery from the left sinus of valsalva is now recognized as an important causative factor in sudden death and myocardial infarction and syncope. This case report presents an anomalous right coronary artery (RCA) originating from the left sinus of...
